A couple of years ago we were asked by Petros Winery in Los Olivos, Ca to come and style some tablescapes for their beautiful venue.  We wanted to stay true to the winery setting, but also gave it a modern twist. This style would be ideal for any dinner party, wedding, or special event!

We flanked the wood farmhouse table with benches and crisp contemporary white seat cushions.

In lieu of a table linen, we stopped by a local fabric shop in Los Olivos to purchase cheese cloth and use it as a table runner. It was a perfect pairing with the wine and cheese dinner, and gave the table a soft whispy feel.

We used sleek  modern stemware along with rustic woven place mats, milk glass containers and overturned rustic crates. The mix of contemporary and farmhouse feel gave the table a fun and unique twist.

We overturned rustic crates and used them as risers to elevate floral arrangements of fig branches, cabbage and white textured florals. Guests were served a refreshing lime drink to start the meal.  The napkins were wrapped in mint green satin ribbon and adorned with contemporary silhouettes of farm animals.

1. First invite guests to save the date for a Jubilee tea party 2. Deck yourself out in a Vivienne Westwood Union Jack Silk Georgette Gown 3. Decorate your house with Union Jack Cushions 4. Pair your gown with an amazing Britianna skull leather clutch by Alexander Mc Queen  5. Have a pair of  Tartan Canvas Loafers just in case your feet get tired from dancing  6. Hang some cheeky “our liz is a diamond” tea towel next to your tea and crumpets.  7. Serve desserts on a bone china plate commemorating the event featuring the queens famous profile centered in a cameo design. 8. Pass around a fun Rizzoli True British Alice Temperly book, showcasing Alice Temperleys approach to eclectic Brit style.
